The state of Washington has allays been a little strange with a love hate relationship with Electric Cars. At one point they tried to close down sales of the Sparrow as it did not meet car safety standards, even thought it was legally a motorcycle under federal law.
Now they want to impose a change on drivers of electric cars because they done pay enough Gas Tax. The state senate has passed a bill that would charge a $100 annual feel to electric car drivers to “to compensate for the lack of gas taxes they pay.”
